Info on Trout Lake

I'm looking for info on Trout Lake. We plan to come out from Manitoba April 12th or so during our construction breakup. This is about our 8th trip to BC and the more remote the better for us. We usually end up around Valemont, Blue River or Radium so we know the typical conditions there. What are conditions like at Trout in April as a rule? How far (long) is it from Revy to Trout Lake? Can you haul a 24' enclosed trailer or do you need a deck and two place?

Any info is appreciated.

vary deep snow down in trout great rolling terrian good into late may.from revy its 48k to ferry 20min ferry ride and another 20 minutes drive to trout.I've parked on side of road and seen many big rigs parked.should be good

Your answer seems a bit disingenuous Ric. You forgot to mention the rutted up ferry road you have to endure to get there.

And don't forget you can only take the fuel in your sled and 1 - 5 gallon can on the ferry....thats the law.

Dont forget that you have to paddle the ferry across the lake uphill both ways

and dont forget the ferry that sometimes sinks kinda hit and miss

Trout lake is about 14 feet of snow short from last year but I think most of BC is like that.
