Sounds like fun.
My nephew was riding with a group in Red Deer Last fall after he bought a new bike.
I raced the first DH race at Canyon many years ago. Good times.

Correct,,, logg on the miles of smiles...

Super easy and it cost next too nothing...

Lots of local Alberta this year..

Pack the bike too various staging areas and pliage the trails...

Edmonton River valley trails are awesome,,, Red Deer River,,, Calgary locations,,, and Bragg Creek too name a few...

All within Our 100 mile radius...

The bush trails are the best,,, take the time too pack down a few spur-loops which really opens up the trails networks...

Cheers all

Don
with all those miles and smiles Lem, u must pack a big lunch?
are those mochaccinos being delivered on the trail? haha. more likely the cowboy trail mix mochaccinos, frugal and tasty! i know that would be the Lem Lamb way, more funds for the next trail ride! Great Adventure Don! luv the pics!

Look out Bragg Creek Trails ,,, Here I come...
View attachment 275538

Some of the best fat tire trails our Province has too offer...

Yha'll bust your 8@!!'zzz on the first bench,,, after that its Hooligan Rad from there on in threw the Rolly's and Sweep-ing Fast track Draws...

Look far ahead and giver,,, some sections are tight-twistys,,, other sections are loooong sweep-ing curves in-between the side-hill shoots...

Kind like a dirt bike with tracks less the $$$$ investments...
View attachment 275539

Frugal priced fat bike and giver...

Sit at home and watch the news,,, then share the details on our Snow and Mud forum...

Or...

Spend the day in the forest in search of lost...

Cross threaded and sideways is optional they say...

Weekend burn-ner is underway...

Day and night rides for this outting...

Boots on the ground too get the beast up there,,, then smash the trails...

Cheers all

Don
Those Dillinger tires are sexy and pricey, out of my budget lol
I made a set of winter tires with 3/8 pan head screws.

You make the exact same long winded post every day. You must have a little bit of time on your hands. Or maybe alzhiemers
You bitch about every post on this site, it's great to have positive posts by someone actually getting outside and enjoying life.

- A calm 4°C eevening
- Short 7 mile ride
- Zig-zagg'ed the forest trails
- Slow Relaxing Pace
- Its great getting back in the saddle
- I'll have too turn it up a notch if I'm planning on tackling the Ram Mountain climb next year...
- Definitely looking forward too sharing more of these rides ...
