Hunters Range any one been this year?

Great day again today went to Hunter Range again started with stuck in staging area because of to much snow. Was at least 4 feet of fresh snow in the open areas. Way to much fun:d Crowfoot next couple of days I hope. WAY TO MUCH SNOW TOO MUCH FUN

Our group gave the guys that spent the night out in the snow some water this morning. They were OK but thisty had lots of food. They said it was very cold outside of the fire. One guy phoned his wife from Sidney Gordon Cabin.

We rode Hunters Range on the 26 th and there was some really good snow, had to go around the back way to the cabin as the normal trail in wasn't there yet. Trail is pretty beat up but we managed. Came down the hill and made trail so you should be able to get up to the cabin the normal way now. Snow conditions were great, jump off your sled and your between your waist and armpit deep in powder.

Hey the trail out behind the main chalet to the Gordon Sydney cabin was groomed today!! will be now every Wednesday!

Just curious, was there a decision made by the Hunters Snowmobile club, to not leave a supply of wood up at the Gordon Sidney this year?? Must have been a pretty chilly night up there.

They have only been up there twice last saturday and again on Wednesday and when they went Wednesday they took what they could carry on the groomer. He cant do it alone so he needs volunters to help him .. Hes going up again out there this Wednesday.

No not current, see "Sicamous update" we were up mon-wed this week, no new snow, tracked up good but a few hidden spots untracked but has really set up, lots of hills untracked with avy conditions the way they have been. Hope that helps.

the 24th is a great day to go. .. Ashton Brash side. only 17 guy been on the trails since Wednesdays night groom. the Monday to Wednesday crew would have had rough ride up as last Sunday had 111 guys on it. and Leforge side just got done Thursday night.. So your choice if your going trail way.. and SUNDAY 25th. WILL BE NUTS>. its poker rally and snowarama combined on Ashton/Brash side.. Laforge will be open for non participants that day. Its been crystal clear up top too .. just so you know. Beautiful!!!!

beautiful weather up top today- but EVERYTHING is tracked out bad. the snow is like concrete. All the hard to find spots are all tracked- no powder riding at all.
