we can keep two... .name one flopsy... the other Stew...... just kidding!!!! These bunnies are friends not food......:p

business is business, salespeople are not your friends! Someone told me this a long time ago, eh!

Your goal is to catch or rather snatch them and neuter them and so forth, they are not your friends, they are feral rabbits.

If you feel they are already friends better think twice about the campground idea.....just saying

I used to have rabbits, started out with 4 females, then my aunt gave me two males.....that were not really wanted! I tried to keep them speerated...but hell keeping a male away from a female in heat (any male species!) just did not work! before I knew it we were over populated!!

So when I needed to catch some to sell, or take to the vet or just for anything, I sat patiently where they were fed, and like it was said on here already, I used a fishing net, its what worked! We also used live traps in the winter time it was easier, Filled them up with fresh lettuce and greens and they just loved it and came right too it....

and if all else fails....my dad was a trapper and I am good at snaring!! lol totally kidding!! We currently have a male rabbit in our home!! lol he does need a girlfriend too!!!lol

we have to catch rabbits to, what we find works the best is skunk traps, find their well used trail and put a carrot in the back, it works every time for us

Taty has her camera with her and she just left for a friend's house.. I'll give you the low down, and pics later.

We arrived at the house and talked to the Lady. The bunnies are about the size of her fist. We discovered the bunnies have been living under her cement stairs. The kids climbed beneath her deck, through the mud and found the hole. Now there is some bad news to this story, or possible bad news. Seems as she saw the neighbors Jack Russel sniffing around her steps this morning and he did go under the deck. There was no sign of fur so hopefully we still have some live bunnies. The live traps are set, similar to skunk traps. We have them baited with carrots right now. Deaner came with us and helped us set the traps up. He showed the kids the how to's of live trapping.

Wow, I cant believe with all the outdoorsy type people on here nobody knows how to catch a rabbit...

My old man and grandpa taught us when we were little kids...all you have to do is sprinkle some salt on their tails...if you can get that close, you can just pick the damn thing up LOL

We never did catch a rabbit but sister and I ran around for days in the field with salt shakers...good times. Got the truck stuck once, and grandpa actually convinved us to tie a rope to it and the other end to a wheelbarrow to help pull the truck out...ya we were young and guillable but man makes for some funny stories today with my own kids...

Salt shaker...just sayin...

On a truer note, like FS says, beware, as wild rabbits are not all cute, cuddly and fuzzy...they will hiss and spit, bite and claw like crazy when you catch them...Welding gloves recommended...And lettuce, not carrots...

could practice up on your fishing, casting and reeling. Just make sure you pinch the barbs and set the drag according to the size of rabbit.:d
kidding of coarse.

How old do you think this little guy is? A Dwarf bunny?

The kids have gone to get more of them. I guess the other ones are more black.
They were frightened of the cages, so the kids just sat really still and waited for right moment to catch them. :)
