Honda rancher420 noise

I have a 2007 honda rancher 420 2wd and recently it started to have a ticking noise to it and doesnt sound quite right sounds very rough what could this be??? Thanks

I thought all Honda's have an engine tick to them

Most Honda's do develop this tick, probably just need your valves adjusted, that should quite it down a bit.
