Looks pretty interesting. I was wondering how it would do in deep snow with the tires ... & then they show the skis on the front.

But a couple things a guy would have to consider ... it sure makes the quad longer ... it makes it wider (at least a little) & If a guy didn't want regular tracks for his ATV, this is sure another option.

Wonder what it costs ??

Great video ... Thanks for post'in it !

Here is the correspondance I have had with the company. $2900 for my quad. He makes a few good points about the 4 track kits compared to this. I am not knocking the 4 track kits, I am just putting this out there for all to see so we can get some good opinions on it.

Hello Paul:

Our kit is expensive if you are counting # of parts received for monies paid. However, our kits are built in Canada from steel & rubber parts. Our kits are designed for utility use. Fewer parts mean less can go wrong. Our kits do not encumber steering ability & do not destroy front end parts. Four tracks parts have many sealed bearings & plastic parts. Therefore there are many reasons to leave you in the bush. Our kit can be removed & reinstalled in 15 minutes with a minimum of tools.

Thanks for your interest.

Good info Captainkip .... and if I read it right, for solid axle ATV's only ??

Still .... it's pretty cool for solid axle ATV's , not to pricey, & sounds like, Easy On - Easy Off ! :specool:

Hi Guys
Just checking what goes on out there, and thought I would reply with some info. We do have kits to fit independent susp. To date we have done Honda 680, polaris sportsman, yamaha rhino, arctic cat 500,can am.
The price for indy kits is a little more because of the extra parts and work involved, but the ride is still great. Most indy kits are $3295.00 BRP kits are $3495.00

I dunnooo! I like tried and true systems. Looks like it might be hard to turn around on tight trails, but in the open or prairies should be ok.

We bought a set this year and put it on an older 400 kodiak for our ice fishing venture. We found that we needed the skis later in the season due to lots of snow. We also got the carrier that proved well worth the money. Each hut weighs about 900 lbs. We have a steel sleigh designed to pull behind our snow bus but the kodiak with the hitch a track system handled it with know problem. However in the really deep snow it was more difficult until I sat on the rear rack with all my slim slender 240 lb frame and away we went.

We designed a box to fit on the back rack to carry our chain saws gas ice auger, spuds etc and it made the difference. We have pulled as many as 3 huts without any trouble.

There was virtualy little change in fuel consumption and no loss of power. We could still run at 70 to 80 k with no problem. When we bought the system they studded the track.

All in all the system is hard to beat in fact if it can be beaten at all.

We need reliability out on the ice and it gives it to us. If for some reason there is a problem, just back of the adustment pull the track, put it on the rack and keep on going.
