The first thing I noticed was your dte.
On my 04 avy with pretty much the same fuel economy will say I have 485 miles (780 km's) to empty. Mine has been pretty accurate with the dte. I've been tracking that instead of the l/100 km just so I know how far I can get.

My wife has the hemi in her jeep and I can get 15l/100 km vs her madman driving 18 or 19.

Dodge has really stepped up their interior design. Nice!

My 6.0l 2500HD impressed the hell out of me on my trip to Kelowna last week. Did the speed limit the whole way (was a long trip!!) Had 1/8th of a tank left when I got home.
100l tank and after fill it says i could go 779 kms.
if my calculations are correct that would be 22 MPG or 10.692l/100
I have approx 800 lbs in the box....
Now if I do 110-120 I cant make it to Kelowna on a tank. Huge difference!

knock your speed back and I'll bet you see HUGE gains in the economy....

FYI, is your engine in the truck, you should check!

Mine would get that kinda mileage downhill, wind at my back, with the engine taken out for reduced weight

ME? LOL. Have you ever set the cruse for 80km/h for 7 hours? :) It wasn't quite that bad but pretty darn close.

It's the leather that caused it. Lol
Same as most trucks are getting now my ford if drove at speed limit I get 13-14 l/100 km. the hemi I drove in a half ton for a month best I got was 15/100 on same roads same trip
However the wife has a rental jeep Cherokee right now and I was getting 9.8 on the weekend very impressed. Runs real close to par with her 2013 escape but your driving a full size SUV instead of a crossover.
Reason she driving the jeep ............. Lets just say somebody went 4 wheelin unintentionally with her escape first est is at 15g+. But still hasn't been on a hoist to check undercarriage
Apparently I need to slow down they say

I feel your pain........ X2! Wife recently totaled her car. We bought a brand New 2013 Equinox and had approx 2300KM's on it and the oil pump blew up putting bits all through the motor. Should be ready to pick up tomorrow with a brand new engine.....

Not the way you want to see your brand new car.... it is pretty impressive thought DOHC V6 variable timing. It has more horspower than my 2000 4.8l V8 1/2 ton did, torque numbers are pretty close to!

Nope. OEM pump and injectors. Now that you mention it, I should change the pump. Not to many see more than 400k.
It's a 2005. In an AWD Dodge Magnum RT. Went through a couple oil pressure sending units, that's about it. On the chassis it's needed brakes, wheel bearings, lower control arm bushings and tie rods.
