What are you all getting for klic's outta a set of brake pads. I'm pretty steady in the loon chit which is tough on'em and got 800 K on my original set

800 to 1500 kms is normal on a new machine. Cut 30-50% off that if the discs are grooved.

I had over 2000 on my stock ones and damn they made some strange noises.
I put in some heavy service sintered pads( I think that is right) I can stop on a dime and give a nickel change now.

ya if ur getting a thou km its pretty good, be careful of the hd pads as they last longer but, they wear the disc down:):)!!!! so it better to use the cheaper ones and use your engine brake and low range more and they should last at least 1-1500 km .

I was way over due for new brakes and I will have to keep an eye on the rotors to see if they are wearing down to quick thanks.

mud puts a big wear on them.

rear i got like 500 on it before she was done.

fronts i got more.

buddy of mine only got like 400k on his fronts of his 700 his rears are 75% still.

mud is hard on breaks
