Is it any good? Power? Mileage?

It's a great motor. First truck I haven't chipped. It passes unreal and tons of power. 30' 4 place trailer On back and I can make leduc from revelstoke and that's driving fast. If I did 100 km per I would make the city for sure. Mines a 350 dually.

I have a 2011 F450 and love it! The ride is harder if you pump up the tires all the way, but the 3 stage suspension i find much nicer than than the 2008 F450 I had before. With a load it's amazing! Tons of power and towing.

I drive a 2011 F250 and I love the 6.7. Lots of power, with the 6 speed tranny it's a great combo for towing. There's 90,000 km on the truck and I'm averaging 20 miles/Imp gal unloaded and 14 towing 28' 5th wheel (that's running it stock). If only Ford would have put in a proper fuel tank in it...

I bought an F-450 the first year they came out 08 I think it was. I just loved driving that truck it was fun to drive. It had the 6.4 liter and I forget the rear end ratio but it was way to high geared and it got 12 mpg empty and 8 with the camper on. Sold both truck and camper within 2 months. Couldn't afford to play that game.

It was 4.55. I had one too. Great for towing, but murder on fuel at high speed.

It was 3:88 or 3:08 Just ridiculous. What you getting for mileage with your 2011 and what gear ration does it have?

In a 2008 F 450 you had a choice of 4.88 or 4.30 nothing else. I had an 08, good truck but a fuel pig for sure. 12mpg empty and 6.5 pulling my big trailers. I now have an 11 450 and it is much much better in every regard.

You are right! It was 4.88. 2900 rpm or so at 110 km/h
