For old Sled lovers

some of those old factory racers engaged at 6000 rpm, shifted at 10? we brag about our newer sleds going 100 mph today, those old 70s sleds did it in 1/2 mile oval ? like having a V-8 in a Grocery cart !

here is a few racers I owned, my son rode this 250 Twister last when he was about 9. and 650 Starfire triple was my friend Glen Shaws last racer. My friend Ron Saint martin and I raced a 76 Moto Ski Super sonic factory racer ,these are pictures off internet,not my old machnes, my photo albums are packed away ,never had a computor them to store ..good thing, these POS computors should never be trusted to store our pictures on.

They didn't race in the NWSA then. 5000 rpm engagement rule. Mr. Fagnan slapped my fingers in Breton once. Lol.

Wow thnks Ken must be old too seen them all. Missing the old moto ski super sonic thou, Just need the smell of alchol and nitro in the vid and would have been a normal sunday way back then. Yes to fast for the controlability in the corner remember being clocked at 98mph on the back streach in 76 or 77 WHAT a fool but what a rush.
