Finally got to ride for the first time this season yesterday. 37 miles in and I do this. Was up Owlhead playing in the trees around the Kingfisher side. I guess that will be my last ride of the season as well. This sucks.

Hit a bit of a jump sidehilling and when I came down on the upper running board and that was it. The ride out wasn't to bad actually. I'm just glad I didn't take my boot off till I got to the truck cause it wasn't going back on. I will say I think wearing the Motor Fist boots helped out with supporting it. Now I get to go get it pinned and screwed back together tomorrow.

Now this is an interesting story and I feel your pain. Really I doo!

On Saturday, Feb 6th 2010, I broke my fibula (my x-ray looks just about the same as yours) in a place that we have since called Ankle Creek for not so obvious reasons. Rode out and went to the Doc on the Monday. Yea, it's broken!

I was riding by April 2, 2010. It was a struggle but I did it. I wasn't easy on it throughout the process and it took a long time to heal. The specialist wanted to pin it and screw it but decided to wait and see. I'm really glad we made that decision as it is pretty near perfect today and for an ol' fart, I get along pretty darn good.

No MRI. Drove from Sicamous to Salmon Arm hospital where they did the Xrays yesterday afternoon. They put a temparay cast on it there, which I still have on. Surgery tomorrow afternoon. I thought it was pretty fast service.

That will heal quick as long as the doc is a good one and not a butcher.

Tore my achillies tendon oct 5th surgery on oct 13th cast off on Nov 27th Physio the 28th. Rode Golden Dec 19,20,21 Taped the ch!t out of it sidehilling on the left side is struggling but slowely getting better.
Have had 2 other 3 day rides since and is getting better by the week.

Just make sure when the cast comes off that you try to keep the swelling down. Get ahold of a compression sleeve. They do wonders.

Good Luck
