My boat is wrapped up and in storage for the season.
Pulled the sleds out so that's the sign boating is done.

Still good weather here yet, nice this week again supposed to be 18 to 20 for the weekend and nice yet right till the 20 th at least. Lots of boating left, just shorter days , gets cool pretty fast in evening.
Rivers are really nice now, Smokey is just crystal clear and quite low, the Wapiti is actually coming up a bit, lots of water for big boats still.

4 of us went from hiway 40 bridge up to the powerline on kakwa today. Pretty boney , sure heard lots of noises from under the boat , Couple guys got air a few times but all good , no damage . These small boats are so friggen light and tough its amazing what theyll take with no damage. Man there are some huge bloody boulders in that river, and sneaky as hell, I swear they duck down and pop up just as your bow gets to them.
