Engine light.

I have a 2006 800 that the engine light is flashing. It runs fine any idea why it would be flashing?

Very common if it is a (!) light. Brake sensor in the handle is f'd.

I have an 08 and it does the same.. Flickers on and off, somedays more then others, I wonder some times if it is a elec short or a major problem so I check the plugs and all is normal.. Had a couple shops check it out and haven't been able to get it fixed..

Playing around with it again tonight it is the actual engine light that flashed non stop???? I checked all the dmp stuff cant figuire it out.

My 05 acted similar but up found my one of my kids had put a dime in the tether. On the 07 when over 1/2 throttle it would come on, problem was a broken wire in the plug going into the solenoid for the Rave valve good luck.
