Nov 17th was up at Silver Summit for the first ride of the year, just over a foot of snow, the main power lines were OK but the actual trail from Silver Summit to town is going to have to be groomed before its worth going on due to quad ruts. Nov 20th Ran along the main highway west of town for about 35km, about 1.5 ft of good snow all the way. If your into ditch banging you won't be disappointed.

Spent 4 of the last 5 days sledding north of Edson there is 1ft to 2ft of snow everywhere and still lots of areas have no sled marks. Rode from Silver Summit toward Whitecourt (on the trail) until about 10 miles past Tomhill Tower road all fresh powder, the only issue being a rough creek crossing between the Knight Comp road and the Tomhill Tower road. TCPL is doing pipeline repair just south on the main pipeline by Knight comp so you have to find a way around it if you're use to running the pipelines (follow other sledders tracks).all the rest of the pipelines around there were good, as well as the main powerlines running west of Silver Summit. Rode the trail from town to Pepperhill Cabin which was newly groomed as well it looks like it has been groomed toward Silver Summit and the Sundance staging area.

The Silver Summit trail from Whitecourt is groomed except for a small section from the Tom Hill Tower road to a beaver dam on the trail. Ice is still a bit lacking!

You can stop at the Yamaha/ Arctic Cat Dealer. They cost a couple bucks.

Just road from the Little Sundance staging area towards Silver Summit and found a lot of 2-3 foot powder area's untouched. Great ride playing around today.
