Crazzzy, one day, I’ll bump into ya. we started in the West End 156 street and White mud area. Drop down at Quinnell bridge then Laurier park over to hawrelak park. Emily Murphy up to downtown. Rode a pretty cool trail on the east side of Groat Road back down to the river. pretty narrow and tec. No crashes. Did have to step off and run once. no damage to the bike. Or my bad knees. Lol. Knee sleeves kept the joints together.

There are some good deals to be had right now. I've found the only difference from the high end derailleur and cassettes is weight. The cheaper steel cassettes actually last longer on ebikes too and I am not worried about weight on a 50lb bike lol. There is now ebike specific components too.

Good call p.d. ,,, I never thought of it that way...

Ive bought a few cheaper bikes over the years and some of those rear derailer's are like wet-noodles back there...

Yes,,, Sram,,, Shimano and others are doing """full""" component packages for the manufacturers this year,,, or should I say more exclusive package deals...

They were already doing this but their up-ing their game plans ...

The top picks in my lists are Brakes,,, quality rear derailer and a bike frame that doesn't have that wet noodle feeling...

e-MTB cross references over to this for my riding style,,, mostly ridged with a small % of frame and rear hanger f.s. flex...

Analog bikes 8 & 8 from ones perspective...
Even's has a few years of bmx and rad off road under his belt

48.82 miles zig zagg-ing the East side trails...
Screenshot_20240211_175718_Canada Maps.jpg

I'll run the West Side trail network next time then connect them both on a ride after that...

It was good seeing the verity of units out on the trails,,, e-assist,,, lots of analog riders and hikers...

There are alot of areas that see next too nill of users,,, lots of """hello's / great-day/ thank-you's""" offered on my part...

Hooligan rad thing too offer too other trail users...

The farthest N/E Section of the trail end's just a shy out side of Ft Sask at the new river crossing site... vvv
20240211_115907.jpg

I could of via around the range roads too get into the Hamlet but why bother when there are an abundance of trails running towards the city...

Lots of wicked single track runs just off the mains...

Big shout-out too the trail keeper's keeping them in prime condition...

Yes,,, connect the Farthest N/E section too the Farthest S/W is the game plan...

A person needs too rise up out of the lower river valley once in awhile,,, other then that its super easy too negotiate the main/ main trails...

Right or left off the mains is the rad stuff...

Hope everyone had a great weekend

All ready game planning the next run some where no where...

Actually there are now a few trails on the West side of the Devon bridge along North facing River Bank... (South Side of River.)

It seems like there's smaller nippets in some of the urban edges,,, a few lines remain in a few spots,,, im sure its changed alot...

That reminds me,,, id better head out West too check out a few tight tree sections that might need a bit of trimming...

Boots and chain saw hike...
