Well i been tossing the idea around to trade my 09 f 350 off for an dually but my truck is mint with only 40000 km on it and i would take a huge loss on it for just getting training wheels on the back so i might get a conversion kit for it from arrowcraft.com comes with the hub adapters and the polished rims and the back fenders for the truck wondering if anyone has done this

I would think you would be screwed at the scales that go by the door stricker GVW etc!

Cool that would work, just giving heads up about the door sticker in case ya didn't know cause that would suck! But u got it cased.

Like ya said might not be worth the loss. But you won't get much for a converted truck down the road as most dually guys want the gvw! Just a thought.

What about the re-sale value? Who's going to want a dually that can't haul the load that a real dually can?

I don't think if matters as silly as it sounds. A SRW can technically haul more than the DRW by about the weight of the extra tires and fenders, makes sense..no.

I dont care about resale as iam keeping the truck might have 100000 km on it in 10 years

was recomended to steer clear of the 22.5,24.5 kits if you are off highway much as the tires have no sidewall flex with the little weight however you can run 10 bolt 22 or 24 rims and run passenger tires

I run 19.5 on my srw and they ride awful when not loaded, I can't imagine a dually being any better. That will be a nice looking truck when done.

How come 2.5? I run same size tires with 2" and could probably get away with 1.5
