For those of you who have experienced these trucks, what do you think of them? What is the fuel economy like, how is the performance and do they hold up?

Thank you for your input.

My company truck is a 2010. Gets driven pretty hard down rough roads, mud , snow ,etc. It has 147 k on it. Only things its needed so far are 1 u-joint and 3 windsheilds. Fuel economy is so-so. About 16l/100 empty at 115kph. About 23-25 when pulling about 10,000+ lbs. Been a pretty good truck.

I have a 2005 3/4 ton dodge with the 5.7. It is a good truck and it hauls my camper and my 3 place enclosed sled trailer just fine but it is a bit on the thirsty side. I only get about 19l per 100 km empty and quite a bit less when I am pulling a trailer. Newer models are better I am sure.Mine has 187 k and still works good.

I've got a 2012, keep under 105 and you'll be happy. 90,000 k's on gravel, no squeaks yet, no major issues. Will never go back to a wallet emptying diesel.

Dont understand why they dont put the cylinder management on the 2500s.

Just seen the 2014 power wagons coming with the 6.4L gas standard with the cylinder management and 4,10s compared to the 4.56s.

Guess the extra torque will push it in 4 cylinder mode on the highway and dosent need to crazy high gears for tractoring over rocks.

2102 with 90000 on it and i would get another hemi. got 15L/100km empty on hiway. loaded would be around 29L/100km. keeps up to the diesels in the mountains better than ford or gm gas truck. the only thing is i wish i had a standard or 4.10 gears when pulling as the tranny doesnt like to shift in to 5th or 6th that often. other than that have not had any issues other than a windshield. went to over sized tires and did lose quite a bit of fuel mileage. only averaging 17 on the hiway now. defiantly will be getting the 6.4.
