Dirt bike trails near sicamoose

We will be there from July 10 to 20 where can me and the boy go for a trail ride can we ride up to sled cabins or is there better trails to go on

Not 100 % sure yet, but most places u can't ride the hole way up to the cabin s

Like blue lake and owlshead

Queest I think u can go there and past to the lake above it, and mabe past towards the queest village

But don't hold me to that, as I haven't made it up yet other than getting wood

If you go around to the la fours staging area near Mable Lake you can take the Mara Lookout road up past the stash cabin to the lookout. It's a good ride. Lots of rocks though.

Was going to add that, but a bit of a drive around to the Lafarge road to go up that side

Too bad they won't let ya go between owlshead side and mara look out , dunno if it would be doable on a machine anyways...

Would be cool tho

Thanks for some info I guess we will snoop around when we get there or if there is any one local or around with a 12 year old son or so and would like to show us around that would be great as well

Well I've got a 11 year old with a dirt bike, but haven't got anything for me as of yet ( and not pedal biking it lol) can mabe barrow a quad for now from a buddy... Boys been bugging me to ride his bike

We would be going up owlshead , mabe up to the look out, u turn at 2 km on the trail

Just not sure if how well he would do on his bike

Mable to Mara is a fun ride, fast and rocky. There is the old road off the power line that goes into Blue as well. I have yet to make it the whole way as it was a little challenging for some people. If you don't like washed out river rock goat trails it's not a good time.

Queest is decent, lots of quading trails to the lookout. Not much single track that I am aware of. Just stage at the bottom of the road and ride from there. Passing the cabin opens up lots of area to ride.

Go buy this book there is 100s of old logging road, scenic trails mapped in them. some even say if they are accessible in summer buy quad. I've also found some deadly hot springs that we ride to.

very close to sicasmouse is revelstoke. some of the most amazing dirtbiking trails in BC.

lot of really nice lookouts, lots of great singletrack, lots of beginner areas.

they have a kids track and a big MX track.

I know this winter that the road from 3valley to Mabel lake, we came out sledding on was lake and liver lake, looked cool for summer riding

Where is moose knuckle at??
