what are some of the affects that will happen if you don't line the plug up with the injectors?

Possible misfire..You may notice a bog or some shaking etc.

does anyone know if the sled will have problems idling or even die completely out when idling?

They need to be indexed properly to the injector for proper performance. If sled doesnt run correct, check them.

You need to take plug out and make a marker mark on the open side and then when you thread it in you know where to turn to line up.

Etec spark plugs thread are cut to always index just put them in.

This is true. But important to buy the plugs through a BRP dealer! you can buy the same plug from any auto parts store but they are not properly indexed! Just going off what was explained to me.
