Picked up a Ruger 10/22 & 110 round drum mag at Barton's on my way home from work Monday. They've also got a Barrett M416 and a 50cal on the shelf.
Those would be fun to shoot but at $4500 the wife would probably have a conniption fit. Can't get pic's to load for some reason tho...

Imagine it's probably harder to get the ammunition for the 416 and 50 cal. A couple months ago I was in Cabela's Edm. store and they had a Barrett .50cal on display in the special gun room. Think the price tag was just over $8500.

At that stage usually people reload anyways so ammo shouldn't be an issue. Except cost of course

Derrickhand on the rig that I've been working at has the .50cal and he said he hasn't had any luck finding reloading equipment for it and he can't get it shipped up from the states. I'll have to ask him what it costs per round.

Did CanadaAmmo give up on theirs as they have them for $849 free shipping?

I know there was a big commotion on getting them certified as NR

They sell them for $891 with gst. So you save some cash but they're don't have any in stock.

Picked up a Mossberg MVP .223 on the weekend for some fun with coyotes. Getting bored waiting for the Weatherby to show up. Trail cams were also on sale at Cabelas for $80 and they come with a pruning saw. Had two that worked great, now have 4! Kids having fun at the farm checking pictures every time we go out, coyotes, deer, moose and one bear. Not bad stubs on the moose and bucks.
Dam you Cabelas my wallet is empty again!

Beauty! I've been thinking of getting one in the same caliber. How is accuracy?

I have only shot some American Eagle through it for break in cleaning and they are a 2-3" cartridge. Out in two weeks and will put some quality Winchester 45gr HPs throuh it. The Gun is rated as a .6MOA in American rifleman magazine so.........will see. Was doing one 1" with the american eagle amo but 1-2 fliers out of 5 shot groups. Then three tight then 4 all over the place. Good AR 15 amo but not for consistant shootng - AR15 clips slide right in the MVP though.
