There isn't any snow to talk about is there????

We had rain all last night in the Kootenays, but at 11c in the valley, it will be rain right to the top.

It wasn't rain right to the top. There is snow above 7000' this morning. We had 7/10's of an inch of rain last night, so that may be fairly substantial.

Guys...Its going to snow...Right?
At least we have the sled show this Friday. And 6 weeks 4 days until my annual first trip.

I think its just a slow start to the season, should pick up around November

Slow start? How do you know that yet? I don't think theres been a winter in the past that we can sled before Halloween. If this was November then wecan say a slow start. And it only takes one good storm and its on like donkey kong!

That's fair enough, I think its more of a mental thing right now, still wearing t-shirt during the day mid-October. If you look at last year Mcbride went from iches to 3 feet in less than 2 days at end of Nov.
Cant blame a guy for getting antsy to ride! Had ACL surgery in April so I've been working hard to be ready for sledding!

Yes this weather is very nice nice for this time of the year! I been holding off on the sledding need bye using the jet boat as much as possible. Soon as I put that away the jet boat sledding will be on the brain!
