check engine light

Was riding my 07 m1000 the other day and put on about 50 to 60 km, all flatland. On the last 10 km's my check engine light started flashing, seemed to be no change in sled. so question is will this light flash a code, or do i start diging deep to find the problem.Have checked coolant and oil. Any help would be great, Thanx.

My son has the same sled ,The engine oil lite came on but the oil level was good ,ended up changeing oil sensor solved his problem,hope this helps.

what i used to do is pull the bulb out of the light there no more warning light haaaa :d

They do flash a code, there should be a list on a three inch square sticker under the hood, just ahead of the clutch.

what JCM said. I had the same thing. just a bad connection at the ccu
