Want to change my top gear from a 21 to a 20 and was wonering is i could use the same chain.08 154xp

yes it will. I just went from 24 to a 21 and we had just eoungh chain to suck up the difference. I just installed a 21 on my 04 mxzx and it had a 23 on top. We did changed my buddies 03 from the 24 to a 21.

Yes I have a 08 xp 154" and it came stock with a 21t. I purchased a clutch kit and have used a 20t and am now running a 19t with the same chain.You should have a 45t on the large sprocket and that will let you run a 21,20,or 19t top sprocket with the stock chain.You will lose a little of the top end but it shines in the powder and pulling hills.
