But will there be any snow??? I suspect you haven't done a lot of grooming this year, really looking forward to trying out your trails. Got a brand new two up yamaha that we really want to try.

it is just at the too much snow for quads just not enough for sleds. we have a week or two to see what happens,

quads are allowed. they can be a pain, screw the trails up real bad and stuck at every hill. luckily the sleds leave them behind within a 1/2 hr or so. they should stage the quads a hlf hr after sleds just to keep the trails rideable. quads chew it down to bare ground rather quickly. hope for snow.

this is usually a good ride, not much safety flagging etc. creeks may be open, bridges a little shakey. they should spend a little time on flagging danger spots. it's not a race but speeds can get up there if they have some snow.

yes looks like only a major snowstorm will put enough snow on the ground before the event. don't see many snow clouds overhead.

I talked to one of the organizers yesterday...he said the trails still looked good. There was one or two spots that were a little thin, but the trails were still a go. Too much snow for a quad.

are you sure about this? haven't been that way in 2 weeks plus, there was still snow but with the temps can't see there being much left other than ice.

I spoke with a contact in the newspaper he said last tuesday there was 8" of snow. It was warm all last week also, so he said if your staging with quads leave around 11:00 to let the ski-doo's go first, i mean snowmobiles lol.
I would think a tad more than 8 inches but i guess either go out and scout or bring both:beer:
see ya there on a quad.
