Can anyone tell me what the hose that comes from the frt of the intake does on a scott 852

That would be great. This one is just wide open. Has cavitation getting on step pretty bad. Impellers are good.

So it’s not hooked up to anything? Should be hooked up to a fitting up top that has a screw in it. Right between your trim hoses. That would cause cavitation.

Yup found the valve and where it was supposed to hook to. This one also has other issues with the gasket to the intake. Is the back of the pump supposed to be curved or flat? 507C569A-45EA-496C-8777-AC7BECDBFD3A.jpeg
