It almost looks like a darker beer, or is that just because of the blue bottle???

If he switched to Pegasus 1 full synthetic his finger nails would be much cleaner. We are loving this stuff.

Really?? A slough shark salesman sold ya on some sort of "full synthetic" oil that doesn't break your rotating equipment properly and has the same base components of gma 40. Do some research, educate yourself, and drop esso.

zero valve recession, in the last 8000 hrs on a 3408 with pegasus, with GMA we barely made 6000 hrs and we were doing head swings. Pegasus has made a fantastic improvement on 743 cummins, 3521, H-24, F-18, hate it all you want this stuff works miracles.

PS I was told buy my Chevron sales rep that the engineer that was primarily responsible for the R@D of GMA 40 hired on with Chevron a few years back and developed there natural gas oils.

Call Tony at Catwauk and ask him we made him a believer.

Mechanic? Foreman? 0 valve recession?? 3408 TA? How much load? Gas sample? Elevation? Changing/variable load?? Timing? Last overhaul date? Date oil type changed as per overhaul? Sorry. No disrespect. Just not a believer in most anything.

No I am an lead operator who spearheaded the change to this oil on the 3408 because we tried everything to keep that pig running and could not get to 2000 hr services without a fiasco. Since our trial run on the 3408 we have switched every thing else. Unit runs loaded all the time 3408TALE with an Ariel JGJ/2 in a low pressure booster application.
