What prop are 4.3L boat owners running? Have a rough idea where i'm going to start with but just more curious than anything about what is working well for others.

high 5 stainless steel 19 p works great for me. 18.5 bayliner wake board tower great for all water activities. I may have new one still in the box in the shop if you are interested.

Stilhetto prop's are the best hands down............running 21p 3 blade will out perform any any 4 or 5 blade on the market.

Tried High 5 19 pitch on the weekend 44mph trimmed down (4800 rpm)and 49 mph (5000 rpm) trimmed up with 4 people and gear. Corning was awesome. The only thing was little slow out of the hole i thought.

That's odd as it should pull harder out of the hole with the High Five. Less pitch, smaller diameter and stainless steel over aluminum should increase bottom end about 10 - 15%.

You might still be cavatating, I had to go up 1 pitch. The same thing happened to me. If your prop is spinning to fast and not "grabbing" water so to speak, you will not get the out of the hole punch U are looking for. We hung a guy off the back to watch, you can see the difference between the different pitch's. I would not trade my Hi5 for nothing, changed the whole feel of the boat. "20 searay 350hp"
P.S I was lucky as I had friends with the different pitchs to try out.
