best GO PRO settings

looking for the best go pro settings for recording while riding, my videos always seem choppy or make it look like im going 3 times faster than I really am

what are guys running for best results?

Depending what go pro you have, but i prefer to shoot in 60fps, so if you want to slow it down, you can slow it 50% and then still have a smooth video, when you edit the video, make sure to render the finished product in the same settings, in other words, 1080p, and if you're shooting in 30fps, render it in 30fps, or if you're doing 59.94 like i film in, render it in either 59.94, or 29 fps.

You are probably recording in 24fps, which is film recording, i dislike this setting as like you said it seems choppy. Another thing, can your computer handle playing it in high definition? That may be another problem.
