So I went for a decent ride on Saturday and my machine was running great. However about 2 hours into the ride my thumb warmer was getting ripping hot, so I stopped to check it out. I discovered that my warmer had gotten so hot that it had melted through my throttle and into my glove. Has anybody else had this happen to them?

your on a mtn max? or a srx? or a viper? some of my buddies yamahas have done this. you might want to get a low, mid, high switch and just dont use high.

It's a mountain max and it has a temperature dial rather than a switch. I might try to install a 3 way switch and see if that fixes it, otherwise I'll just disconnect the warmers all together and tough it out.
