bought an abs 30, it got stolen a week later, replaced it with a snowpulse and like it over the abs for many reasons

1- much better bag design
2- fills up with air
3- protects neck and head
4- deflates and gives you breathing / moving room in case you end up under
5- to activate it you pull a pin via your pull cord, with the abs there is a charge that goes off in the handle. more chances of failure IMO with a charge than pulling a pin.

I use a Snowpulse airbag. I think it's a 10L, just big enough to fit my shovel, saw, probe, and a sandwich. They are a little restrictive when you're looking up, but it looks like they've changed the design.

I might give the BCA Float 18 a try this year.

Snowpulse Highmark II, excellent quality and design. I tested it this spring and worked flawlessly. Held for about 10 mins and then slowly deflated. Every rider should have one.

Awsome thread. Well, I don't have an Avi pack yet.. keyword YET.. I plan on getting one before my first trip out this season. So don't beat on me because I don't wear one, just give me suggestions on which one I should get?? thanks
