not much close to Vernon but Hunters Range in Enderby has a groomed trail and meadows to play in. Also, Fly Hills in Salmon Arm (about 1 hr from Vernon).

Greystokes in Kelowna has lots of groomed stuff and not a lot of steep stuff. Pretty close to Vernon.

Hunters pretty much covers all types of riding ability. You can ride to the front warm up cabin on a groomed trail and play in the meadows along the ride. I have taken my kids on their 600 cc short track Yamaha. No problem.
