Near ish to Edmonton?

I have a couple of friends that want me to take them for a ride on the sled. Im just looking for something with enough snow and maybe a wide open area with nothing for them to hit after I make sure they are ok on it.

I would assume whitecourt has a decent amount of snow to ride, but it would be a trail ride into an open area. Maybe check the NW Alberta area report on here? I am eager to hear some first hand reports as well though, so will be tuned in.

Possibly Westlock area?
Ministik is pretty thin. Needs snow there
Iron horse is super easy. And can jump off into Belis natural area. (Stuff to hit in there).
Athabasca would be great too. Assuming they have snow.

Alberta Beach, Edson, Barrhead, Westlock. Any of these have some good trails, ditches etc. The GBCA has a pretty high ticket cost for Edmonton plates though so watch out for the Mayor. Lol
