Man killed in ATV collision

A 21-year-old man is dead after he was ejected from his ATV while riding near the Debolt area Saturday evening.
RCMP say the incident happened at the Simonette River Provincial Recreation area just south of Debolt. Investigators believe the man was riding a 2008 Honda 700 ATV when he attempted to crest a hill and became airborne.
The man was thrown from the vehicle and died as a result of his injuries.
Police say campers on site provided first aid until emergency crews arrived, however their attempts were unsuccessful.
The name of the victim is not being released.
The collision is under investigation.
