Accident near revy!!!!

Here's some pics just e-mailed to me of an accident on the clanwilliam bridge, near revy......... Don't know how recent these are, but i wouldn't want to have been in his shoes when he hit that guard railing!!!!!!

Can you imagine hanging over the edge of the big bridge near golden on 10mile hill???

Throw the chains on, back up slowly, cut the hood off and tape a flashlight to the front bumper(if it's still there) and you're on your way. What's the big deal!?!?!?:d:d

just because they have too doesnt mean anything unfortunatley probably 70% of highway burners dont have them because and i quote "what the hell do i need chains for?"

Sorry can't agree with that comment after running out of the Loops for 12 yrs with Trimac I know trucks caught without are hit with $2500 Fines and turned around at Golden and Hope so I would say 95% carry chains, at least a set of cable chains and most carry Trigs.

i hear what your sayin, im just sayin out of experience through guys ive seen and talked to at truckstops and scales and from what ive heard from my cousin (d.o.t) so ya sorry 70% might be overboard but there are guys that dont have them and lots that are to lazy to use them, the way i was taught was if you think your gonna need them put them on before you do
