A little anal about....

...installing an HMF optimizer, so I'm lookin for ideas on where to mount it, keep it water proof. Also has to look like a reasonably Profesional job, not duct taped to the frame.... I have an 07 outlander.
Any ideas? TIA....

On top of the airbox, under the yellow plastic.....

Oh and BTW, the 07 can run a snorkel and a pipe with NO tuner required...it is fat from the factory. I had an optimizer on mine and removed it after 1 ride in 07. Went 5 seasons with a pipe no issues.

I was thinkin of trying to eliminat the odd backfire. Would there be another cause? Just tryin to get it runnin smooth as possible. Might it have to do with break in, ( newly rebuilt motor, crank rods pistons) I've only approx 30 hours on er.
