99 Grizzly 600 Loud Snapping Noise From Clutch Area

I am wondering if anyone has experienced a loud snapping type noise coming from the clutch area when you let off the throttle. I just had the wet clutch rebuild and now I have this noise. When you let off the throttle it makes a loud snapping noise. Anyone have any ideas as to what it might be????

is it coming from the primary or the secondary clutch, it almost sounds like the primary by your description, it could be the sheaves slamming together, did you forget a shim. does it have a cage around the clutch and if so did you make sure it was installed proper before you torqued it down

i would be taking it back to where you had it fixed, quick before it costs ya more money. the primary clutch is supposed to have grease in the rollers(yamalube)
