so I got another summit this ones the 98 670X with dpm. It was running rich and cutting out on the top end power wise so I just assumed it was the DPM system failing just like my old 97 with the HAC system now i went and hauled out the pilot jets and mains and swapped them with the mxz 670 specs. then went for a run seemed to run good for a while but then developed a issue where it would bog at full throttle and just run shitty now what I did after this was just zip tie the DPM to the coolant hose and re hook up the electrical connections and then took it for another run and so far so good seems to run way nicer and pull through the power band can anyone explain whats going on why would it need to have the solenoids connected to run good there not doing anything now???
