I run 83 grams on mine revs 7460 pretty steady. Although i broke an APV cable and in the process of readjusting them i had it reving 7980. Then 7200 when i lengthened them. Was 1.319 reved 7980 was 1.77 reved 7200 set at 1.37 revs 7460 and seems happy. You never said what spring you had in the primary . What helix etc.. Is it leaning out maybe?

i have the terra alps clutch kit in it. not exactly sure what spring and what helix came with it. the way it feels would be fat if anything , i think.

is this at home or in BC?

my current setup on my 09 m1 with full slp, pc3, open intake is

primary

cat gold spring (75-275) with 3 or 4 0.020 or 0.030 shims to up engagment a bit.
3200-3300 engagement
80 gram cat weights

secondary

straight 40 cat helix with only one black shim
shift assist
55/65 gears
60 belt

revs get to 7750-7800. everytime i nail the throttle from a stop or on and off rpms always there without hiccups. seems to pull good.

i did run the yellow/green spring (120/267) with a 046 belt with everything else the same and was getting rpms getting to that 7900 sometimes. this setup did work good also. 046 belt is a touch more responsive or lets the clutches be a little more responsive. 060 likes to stick alot more. just with throwing the 060 belt on my rpms would drop almost 200 rpm and alittle more once the belt got hot. but the gold spring and 060 today for the first time seemed to work good also. was also -20C today and doing 50 to 60 mph the cold air flowing thru the hood probably helped alot with belt temps.

if you in BC with 77 grams i would try the d&d orange primary spring. has a 170/305 rate. from what others have posted that should get you in the high 7700+ range where you need to be. if i ever did get a chance to get out to the mountains this year thats what i was going to start out with in the primary. bring a few more springs and both different belts to get rpms somewhat in line.

thats weird. as long as they are adjusted to 35mm which is 1.377 inches... as long as both cables are the same length the servo motor should pull both valves wide open. lenght could be 31 mm and should be the same affect as 35mm. i could see too long of an adjustment not opening all the way.

this makes total sense, starting having trouble with RPMs after I put the 60 on. going to try the 45 first to see if that changes it.
