I used one from a altenator shop was only 1.6mm thick but cost about $0.10. when you install make shure you get the roller plate (the plate with the splines on it) on the shaft verrry good. first time i installed the shim i started the quad up and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzing

Just installed the mod on my demo( 07 KQ 700 w/27 swamp foxes) and now it picks up the front tires easily.
ha ha have seen the damage a couple times now. That plate only costs 40 but is an inconveniance/embarrassing situation. Haven't seen any c.clutch drum spline damage, alot harder steel.
Needless to say it is a good mod to do but like Kingkris06 said make sure you get back together right or it will hurt your king. later

Drove all over, tractor dealers and anybody else I could think of with no luck.

Thanks for info guys

90201-222F0 is a .5mm
90201-225A4 is a 1.0mm shim, fit perfect and Redline Grande Prairie had them in stock.

got the shims. Putting them in I found that the full 2mm brought the belt to high in the secondary so I went down to 1.5mm. Looks good now can't wait to see if it makes a difference.

Thanks for the help.
