Anyone having problems with their 2014 pro quickdrive ? If so what kind of problems ? I have 950k on my 14 with no problems what so ever. Just interested to see how everyone else's sleds are doing

450 boosted miles, running 8-10 lbs, heat guard and F&I tensioner…..belt looks as good as new.

I ran all day in over hood snow. Then towed a sled from lulu to parking lot in Wyoming then flew to cooke city wide open and belts looking great. ~500 miles on it.

So what's different between the 13 and 14? I am looking to put a belt drive on my '11 and find stock '13 drives for cheap but don't want the problems they have.

For what it's worth I had only one customer say the 14 belt was failing on his 14 Pro so he put a TKI belt drive kit on. I put a kit on my 14 too to gear it down and the 3 things that I noticed were:

1. sled feels way smoother. I thought this may be the clutching but when I also put a drive kit on my 2013 stock 600, it too became way smoother.
2. Primary drive belts are lasting way longer, I guess gearing down takes the load off them.
3, Sleds free wheels way easier, 2 fingers easily turns the track. The TKI kits runs the belt looser than stock so I guess this explains this.

The above is only to show how the stock drives could still be better. Oh ya, I lost the head off the lower pulley bolt so I went to grade 8 bolts.

First hand experience I've seen and heard of more aftermarket systems failing this year than the stock QD using the 14 belt. Gearing down would be nice though.

Have a 2013 with 650 kms. Drive working fine. Dealer said 2014 belt is 40% stronger but leave '13 belt on for now. He also says they have ahd nos serious issues/returns of 2014's.

Hmmm, so it might be worth using the 13 setup with a 14 belt then? Depending on pricing of all the parts of course, guess I have some figuring to do.

I have 485 Miles on mine all mountain, not a single problem. Gas n Go. Loaded up and ready for more abuse on the hills.

I have had to adjust th secondary, primary belt seems to be wearing a bit but that's expected.

On your 11' it's a real pita to use the Polaris belt drive. The gears don't fit inside the chaincase so you'd need to either cut the chaincase or swap to the 13-14 backing plate. And brake setup is different.
Better off looking at tki or c3 is my guess. Prob won't find the few little things you need that Polaris wants a arm and leg for

Ya I am slowly coming to that conclusion. I can get the gears and belt for pretty cheap but the rest not so much.

I put the TKI on my Boost-it Pro . I wanted the TKI belt drive for lower gearing.Other benefits. It does feel smoother and easier to turn the track, the belt looks of higher quality, easy to change and runs cooler. Had it out Saturday in heavy deep west coast snow under boost, the belt hardly got warm, very happy with the results. Have a 14 belt and bolts with about 150 miles on it for sale.
