From Snowest:

Service Bulletin# S-12-03

There is a recall that came out to all dealers
Sept. 18th about the front suspension lower A-Arm replacement. The concern is the
stabilizer bar mount brackets on some sleds may loosen due to incorrect
assembly. That’s why sleds are being delayed. All units that are being shipped
now have this issue corrected; this recall just affects sleds already
delivered.

Parts will be
shipped to dealers at the end of the month.

I guess when they glue on the ends of the A-arm they were not heat treated properly. I guess its a heat treated epoxy. Its only the first batch of sleds.

The pros handle extremely well with the stabilizer in imo. Unhooked my to try it and couldn't see any benefit in side hilling, just handled worse with the skis flat. I moved my skis in all the way, I found that worked better. They claim the 2013's are even more "flickable" so I don't think you will have to worry.

I noticed they also have a pin or set screw in them and in the aluminum end sockets so they can't fall off or spin.

I pulled mine off the 2012 and it handled worse. narrowed the ski stance instead and it was much better. Just my opinion.

Removed mine and did notice a difference. For me it is harder to control but I am only 150 pounds before I get on the unit.
