Guy's wanting to trade me a 2010 RMK 800 155", has a rebuilt top/bottom end 300 miles ago with fix kit installed, he is trying to get the receipt for the engine work currently. Sled has 4700 miles on it. Looks to be in good shape, whats this thing worth and what would be a reasonable price to ask for it to sell it, I have enough sleds already so I would likely sell it.
Thanks

You won’t like what it’s worth. $3500 at the top end. They have a bad rap those sleds.

Just see you weren’t selling it you were talking it on trade. It will be a very hard sell that sled.

Ya think $3500 gonna be hard to get. Depending on condition ect. I'd say $2500-3000 or so maybe a lil more if you find the right buyer.

I sold a really good condition 2012 rmk 155 in April.

Only 1800 miles and 300 on fresh top end.

It was out of season so price is a bit lower but I had zero action when listed at $4000.

Dropped it to $3500 to move it, as I was buying a new one and have more toys than the wife desires. Regret not just keeping it as a spare since it was still a great sled.

So as stated above value is low and a tough sell.

The issue may be trying to find the right buyer in AB with the higher mileage. The last 2 sleds we have sold out of our household have all gone to Manitoba since the flat landers see our 'high-mileage' units as low mileage units to them. I guess you can put on a lot more miles cruising ditches and farmers fields. Thought it was pretty interesting actually. Those guys browse the AB market more than I would have thought

Yeah the item I'm trading I'm asking 2800 so thats kinda what I figured. May be an easier sell tho with snow on the way, not too sure what I'm gonna do.
