2003 Rev Summit Higmark Extreme bog at rpm

I'll be brappin along just fine, and she runs great. But start making her work, like climbs or big powder....then she starts to bog, revs drop from 8000, and if you hold her tapped, she will bog down to 6500-6000....Rebuilt the primary as friends kept telling me that was the issue, did new plugs and wires...it comes and goes and is a c##t to troubleshoot....what next?

Coil? RAVE Valves? burn it to the ground?

Pulled er apart tonight, cleaned the RAVE valves, checked the can for obstruction, went to clean carbs and found the dpm lines off the carbs to be old and brittle, pto side had a crack....changed them out...will test her out tomorrow!

sounds like ur on the rite track,that may fix er up , hope u pulled the bowls and had a look there too

I did not....It's last on my list, because with the boysen reeds and intakes getting rid of the de-lamination issue, the carbs are super awkward to install. :/
