Hotlmanz attac. Im not exactly sure what it stands for. I put one on my 04 edge last year and its great. No more jetting. Rode vale twice with it and not a hiccup.

ATACC=Automatic temperature and altitude carburetor compensator.

They work well, have one on my 03 rmk and have gone from 1500' to 7500', as well as -30c to +5c, without rejetting.

I am putting another on my 04 proxr.

Yep I have it on my 04 800. working very well.

Worked flawlessly on my 03 as well, jetted for Edmonton it worked from down in Manitoba to well into the mountains.

How hard are the ATACC systems to install?

The attac system works only marginally, and I would only recommend it for beginners. It will get the job done but will never tune the way you can with jets. I personally removed mine, shortly after installing it. Jetting only takes 5 mins on these sleds and once your jetted for the elevation you will be riding at, you really don't need to jet to come back down or go up. Just give it lots of fuel. The ATTAC was easy to install just drill a hole in your air box and top of your carb and connect all the lines.
