i have a 2001 honda 450 foreman es i runs fine but keeps killin the battery and pointers what it could be????????

i had the same issue once ...there is a voltage regulator( I think that is what it is) and it's located under the rear fender on the right side...... I bypassed that and it ran fine ..then I replaced it.......solved my problem , hope this helps ya out....not sure what it's called but i'll look for the manual for my old honda. Cheers!
