2 wheel kit 2003 a/c 900 m/c

was wondering if my friend needs to go with an offset axel or can he just use a regular 2 wheel kit we were told by a a/c parts guy he needs to buy the $130 offset axel and i think hes wrong !! :confused:

to run stock wheels on the inside you need a relocation axel(50-100$). not an offset axel. if you want to run any wheels larger than stock...like 8" you need an offset relocation axel.

and the relocation axel is just a narrowed axel that fits between the rails ... correct?

correct.......just machined differantly with spacers to allow the wheels to slide to the middle.

if you have the right connections its not hard to take a couple thou of the stock axel. cut it and retap it and make your own. but for the time it takes its usally worth the 80$ lol
