Hey guys looking for input , I just installed the new 2.6 axis track on my 2015 163" , I did install the 7 tooth drivers as well . Looking for thoughts about the gear down from 8 tooth to 7 tooth . Will I need to change my belt drive gearing to compensate. Has anyone else tried this .

The 7 tooth 2.86 driver swap is the equivalent of installing a 2.4:1 gear ratio. A lot of people are gearing down to that and love it, but you'll likely want to do some clutching changes.

You dont even need to change drivers to install the 2.6 axys track on a pro. The 8 tooth work great. You still have more clearance then a 3" with 7 tooth drivers. Save the money. I have a like new 2.6 163 axys track if anyone is interested. Much better than the stock pro 5.1 series 2.4.

What makes the 2.6 better the the 2.4? Looking at getting an SKS & wondering which track to go with.

Lug design/height/profile, and weight. I'm still breaking it in, but I'm getting around the same performance in deep fluffy powder, and WAY better in all other conditions. I came down a steep sketchy goat trail the other day with no problem that if I still had the 2.4 I'd have been white knuckling and sh@tting bricks!
