Newly rebuilt Motor is going back in today, Finger throttle installed , some minor plastic and switches all repaired, switched to a Sledshed cooker can. New rollers in the secondary and properly set up with the budds system. Thanks a bunch to my friend Tim for his Excellant job. As soon as I get it back it’s off the Jarod at absolute to install my Completly rebuild Nextech skid and 3 pitch drivers and T3 163” track. Can’t wait to get on my first 8 Fiddy!😁 That Sledshed can is only 5 Ibs less than stock

Well I had to replace the crank and cases as well with a brand new top end. And added a complete e start while the engine was out. Top end kit from motts was 1300.00. I’m just glad I have some very good mechanics for friends. In a shop the engine would have been 5000 installed I’m guessing . Without Brian and Tim it would have been expensive . Retail the skid and track would have cost more.I likely could have bought a used decent 850 for 9000.00, This one will be like brand new with all the wear parts replaced , basically a new engine and rebuilt suspension with a track that is not going to fly apart for a lot less! Win Win!

Rebuilt my sons 19 with all BRP parts and both his clutches for 1200ish. It wasn’t blown up though so jugs were fine. Just preventative maintenance. Didn’t touch bottom end.

Crankshaft new is $2100, cases are $1350 & a new factory short block is $4500.00. No factory rebuilds anymore.

I'm not aware of anyone rebuilding these crankshafts.

Well got a couple days on it, could not be happier. Once I get my Pro 40’s on the front it will even be better. Tried riding it with lower risers and a finger throttle . Dumb and dumber lol, anybody looking for a finger throttle and gaurd for a 850 I got one for sale. 163” Track and Nextech skid worked good as expected. Pretty much got the skid dialed in. Make for a stress less summer, already can’t wait till Nov.

4500 you will get a shortblock, closer to 7000 for a long lock. Crazy prices. I just bought a 850 shortblock engine for 500 bucks. The top end is good, cases are good, I just happen to have a good crank here so all I need is new pistons (preventitive) and put er together and have a spare . M52, jumping to the 8fiddy is pretty expensive, Next year I might just do XM and G4

Well almost got er done and ready for next year. Got a 154 g4 bumper from Ron, need to be cut a bit shorter and refinished. My pro 40 shocks don’t fit ,looking for a good set of shocks for the front. Installed bumper, just need to install the new grips and I will post pics of the finished product minus front shocks. Looking pretty good!
