1998 670x NO spark help!!

Hey folks,

Suddenly getting no spark on my 98 670x....

Went on a long ride and got home and installed a new kill switch, test the switch out, saw that it worked and left it. The next day I was going out riding with my buddies, couldn't get it to start....

Bought new spark plugs today still no spark..... took my key and fiddled around with it while I tried to start it... still no spark....

Just to make sure I disconnected the kill switch I installed...

Any ideas??!!?

Check your stator. If you do a search the test procedure should be here somewhere.

Just had the same issue with my 1998 X. Currently looking for a new MPEM. Stator coil and pickup were all ok

Tested my plug leads today... they are good.

I am going to test the stator this afternoon... I'm just having trouble getting to the right plug.... also I am not sure what to set my meter on or what I am looking to get as a reading
