1996xlt dim lights

i have 1996 xlt special just had it out after a couple years of no use . it ran great except the headlights,tail,break,and dash lights all were very dim from starting to full throtle any ideas whats wrong?

I would suspect some sort of corrosion in a wiring connector. Pull all the connectors you can find and make sure they don't have a green corrosion growing in them. It could also be a corroded ground connection too. Sorry this is kind of general stuff but I don't have a wiring diagram for your sled.

had a 96 XCR and it was the voltage regulator.
